I travelled out to Shageluk, Alaska on an Artist in Schools Grant this past May to teach 3-12 graders basic techniques in acrylic painting, it was nothing short of an amazing trip.
We learned about recent techniques I learned on my 6 month trip to Asia this year such as Chinese Calligraphy, Koi Fish, and Japanese Cherry Blossom Tree painting! With the whole city of 60, we had half of the town show up for the Friday Artwork Display!

In February 2018 I will be heading to Nuiqsut, Alaska, on the northern most tip of the state! I will be teaching art for the week through the ConocoPhillips Village Outreach Program.
